What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small files placed on a device by a website. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site remember a choice on that device. UK privacy rules apply to both.
Onbeza uses browser storage for choices you make and, only with permission, may use Google Analytics 4 to understand website use.
Necessary storage
When analytics is configured, the consent control stores your choice so the site does not ask on every page.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
onbeza-cookie-choice-v2 | Local storage | Records whether analytics was accepted or rejected. | Up to 12 months, then the site asks again. |
Storage created by features you choose
The interactive demo sites can remember designs you liked and whether you dismissed their guided tips. The garden demonstration can also remember its selected colour theme. These items are created when you use the relevant feature.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
onbeza-liked | Local storage | Remembers demonstration designs you marked as liked and adds their names to the mockup request form. | Until removed through browser settings. |
onbeza-tips-off | Local storage | Remembers that guided demonstration tips were dismissed. | Until removed through browser settings. |
fernleigh-theme | Local storage | Remembers the colour theme chosen in the Fernleigh Garden Care demonstration. | Until removed through browser settings. |
Google Analytics 4
If you accept analytics and GA4 is configured, Google Analytics collects information about how pages are reached and used. This can include pages viewed, approximate location, browser, device and interactions. Onbeza uses this information to improve its pages and understand which demonstrations are useful.
Analytics is not loaded before acceptance. Rejecting analytics does not prevent use of the site. Google may process analytics information outside the UK under its applicable data-transfer safeguards.
Read more in Google’s privacy policy.
Change your choice
You can open the privacy control at any time. While analytics is inactive, it confirms that no analytics tracking is running. Once GA4 is configured, rejecting analytics will stop Onbeza from loading it on later page views. You can also delete stored preferences through your browser settings.
