Website care, so the site keeps working.

I host your site, keep it secure and backed up, make small changes when you need them, and send you a plain report every month. It's optional, and you can take the site with you if you leave.

Care £29 a month · Growth £99 a month · No VAT to add

What's looked after every month.

Hosting

Fast, reliable hosting

Your site runs on Vercel, served from locations close to your visitors so it loads quickly on a phone.

Security

SSL included

The padlock in the address bar, set up and renewed for you. No extra certificate to buy.

Backups

Every version kept

Every change to your site is saved in version control, so any earlier version can be put back if something goes wrong.

Monitoring

I keep an eye on it

I check that the site is up, that your forms still arrive, and that Search Console isn't reporting errors.

Changes

Up to 30 minutes a month

Send over new photos, prices or wording and they're done. Bigger jobs are £40 an hour, priced before I start.

Reports

A monthly SEO report

How you showed up on Google, which searches found you, and up to three costed suggestions you can say yes or no to.

Care or Growth.

Most people start on Care. Growth is offered once you've had three months of reports, so we can both see whether more work is worth paying for.

Work outside your plan is £40 an hour, quoted and approved before it starts. Unused time doesn't roll into the next month.

How quickly I respond.

  • Site down or a form not arriving: I start on it the same day I find out, whether I spot it first or you tell me.
  • Changes and questions: a reply within one working day, with the change done or a time it will be done by.
  • Bigger jobs: a written price and a date before anything starts.

Everything goes through ben@onbeza.co.uk, so there's a record and nothing gets lost in a voicemail. You deal with me, not a ticket queue.

The term, in plain English.

12 mo

A 12-month minimum

Plans run for 12 months, and your price stays fixed for that time. You pay monthly, in advance, by standing order.

Then

Lock in again, or go monthly

After the first year, lock in another 12 months at the price you already pay, or carry on month to month.

30 days

Stop with 30 days' notice

Once you're rolling monthly, tell me in writing and the plan ends 30 days later. If you need to stop during the first 12 months, talk to me: your written agreement sets out what's payable.

If you leave, the site comes with you.

Nobody should feel stuck with their web person. This is what happens when a plan ends.

  • Your domain, Google Business Profile, Search Console and Analytics already belong to you, so nothing needs to move.
  • Once any fees owed are paid, you choose how to take the site: a transfer of the code to your own GitHub, a move to your own hosting account, or a full export.
  • I walk you through it and give you a plain list of the tools you'll need and what they cost each month.
  • My access to your accounts is removed or handed over, and I keep only the records the law requires.

The full detail is in the terms of business and your written service agreement.

Questions about care plans.

Do I have to have a care plan?

No. Hosting, security and backups need doing either way, and the monthly report is how you find out whether the site is bringing in work. Care covers all of that for £29 a month, or you can run it yourself.

Can you look after a site you didn't build?

Care plans are for sites I've built, because I know exactly how they work. If your site was built elsewhere, email me and I'll tell you honestly whether rebuilding would cost less than maintaining it.

What happens after 12 months?

Plans have a 12-month minimum. After that, prices may go up, but you can lock in another 12 months at the price you already pay. Or carry on month to month and stop with 30 days' notice.

Do unused minutes roll over?

No. Included change time is for that month only and doesn't carry into the next.

Is my email included?

No. Email stays with whoever provides it now, usually your domain company, Google Workspace or Microsoft. I'll make sure the website setup doesn't affect it.

A site that's looked after.

It starts with a free mockup. Care is an option you choose later, once you've seen the site.
