Your map listing, set up properly
Categories, service areas, hours, photos and a description that matches your site. On the Growth plan I post updates to it for you.
Local SEO is the work that helps you show up when someone nearby searches for what you do. No jargon and no promises of number one: just the jobs that make a real difference, each at a fixed price.
When someone types "plumber near me" or "gardener Chelmsford", Google shows two things: a map with a handful of businesses, and a list of websites underneath.
Google says it chooses local results on three things: how well a business matches the search, how far it is from the person searching, and how well known and trusted it is. You can't move your premises, but you can make the other two much clearer.
That means a Google Business Profile that's complete and active, a website that says plainly what you do and where, and the technical basics done properly so Google can read it all.

Search Console comes with every build. On a care plan you get a monthly report: what people searched to find you, and up to three costed suggestions.
One proper page per service or town, written about real work there. I won't clone the same page fifty times with the town name swapped.
Page titles and descriptions, headings, structured data, image text, internal links and fast loading on a phone.
Your real reviews shown where customers are deciding. I never write, buy or edit reviews.
A full check of your site and listing, with the problems in order of importance and what each fix would cost.
For a commercial kitchen extract cleaning business, I checked Google's keyword estimates before writing anything. Two phrases stood out that no page on the site was answering: "canopy cleaning" at around 500 searches a month and "TR19 certificate" at around 570.
So I built a page for each. The TR19 page explains what the certificate is, who asks for it and how often a kitchen needs cleaning. The canopy page shows what gets cleaned, with the owner's own job photos. Both answer the questions customers ask, in plain words.
Those figures are search demand, not results. It's too early to report results, and I won't make any up.
What I will do is explain what I've changed, show you the numbers each month, and tell you when something isn't worth paying for.
SEO groundwork is already part of every site I build. These are the extras, each at a fixed price agreed before I start.
Starter sites include basic on-page SEO and Search Console. Custom sites include full on-page SEO and a landing page for your area. Full details are on the web design and website care pages.
Nobody can honestly promise that. Google decides rankings, and it changes how it does so. What I can do is fix the things that hold a local site back, give Google clear pages to show, and report every month on what's changing.
It varies with your trade, your area and how much competition there is. New pages can take weeks to be picked up. That's why the plans run for 12 months and why we review the numbers together after three.
It's the free listing that shows your business on Google Maps and in the map results, with your hours, reviews, photos and phone number. It's yours, set up under your own Google account.
How you showed up on Google that month, which searches found you, and up to three suggestions, each with a price and what it should bring in. You decide whether to go ahead.
Not myself. I'll introduce you to a Google Ads specialist I work with. You deal with them directly, and the ads run through your own Google Ads account.
Every site I build has the SEO groundwork done from day one. Tell me your business, your trade and your town, and within a week you'll see your mockup.
